Teen Drivers (Under 18)
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must have held a learner license for the required state-mandated period
- Must complete an approved Texas Teen Driver Education Program
Documents Required
- Driver Education Completion Certificate
- Impact Texas Teen Drivers (ITTD) Certificate
- Completed driving practice log
- Verification of Enrollment (VOE) form or acceptable alternative documentation
- Valid learner license
Parent or Guardian Requirement
A parent or legal guardian may be required to accompany the teen driver depending on licensing requirements.
Parent-Taught Driver Education Students
